FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do they work?
Watch this quick video on how to inflate, deflate and use.
What is the recommended PSI?
The recommended pressure is 15 PSI. The boards can hold up to 23 PSI, however, you won't get much more performance or rigidity after 15 PSI.
How do I inflate my boards?
Assemble your dual-action pump by attaching the hose to the pressure gauge. Next, find the valve on the tail section of the board. Make sure the inner valve is in the "up" position when filling. (Otherwise, the air will escape when you take off the hose). Inflate with about 120 pumps. At about 100, it will become more difficult. At this point, remove the *high capacity screw under the pressure gauge and continue pumping until about 15 PSI.
(*There are two speeds for pumping depending on where you position the screw just below the pressure gauge. One mode is for a higher volume of air and less speed in filling and the other is for faster filling and less air).
How long does it take to inflate my board?
With the dual-action pump, it usually takes five to seven minutes, depending on the model and capacity.
Which way does my paddle go?
When you assemble your paddle, the logo should be facing forward.
Can I keep my board inflated when not in use?
Of course. The board won't lose air for many months. However, take care not to store your board in direct sunlight for long periods as it will over-expand. Over expansion is not covered in the warranty.
How do I deflate my board?
Make sure the valve is dry first so that water does not enter the board. Then, open the valve cap and press down and hold the valve for two seconds. (Warning, it's loud when you let out the air). Allow the board to deflate for a few minutes before you start folding. Wrap the nose first, then grab the board by the rails and roll the board up.
